The National Media Authority has taken legal action against an individual who posted content on social media that involved bullying a child of determination and contained inappropriate insinuations that go against the values and norms of society.
The authority coordinated with the platform concerned to take action against the account and the person who published the content. It also notified the relevant authorities to take the necessary measures in accordance with the law.
The authority reaffirmed its rejection of abuse and bullying in all forms, stressing its commitment to protecting children and people of determination, safeguarding their dignity and preserving social values.
