How is Rebellions AI contributing to Saudi Arabia’s ambition to become a leading regional AI hub?

We build AI inference hardware and the software stack around it, focusing on delivering high performance and energy efficiency for real-world AI workloads. By bringing that technology and the engineering expertise behind it into the Kingdom, we can contribute to the development of Saudi Arabia’s domestic AI infrastructure and the broader ecosystem being built around it.
We want to build a meaningful technical presence here and work with Saudi partners as the ecosystem develops. This includes training local engineering teams so the people running and extending this infrastructure over time are based here in the Kingdom.
How important are partnerships with Saudi entities, such as HUMAIN, to Rebellions AI’s growth in the Kingdom and the wider region?
They are essential, Building AI infrastructure at scale requires close collaboration across the ecosystem – from the organizations developing and funding infrastructure to the companies deploying and operating it. Local partners bring an understanding of the market, requirements, and operating environment that cannot be developed from outside the Kingdom.
Our relationships with Saudi partners have helped us establish a meaningful presence here, and we see significant opportunities to deepen those relationships as the market develops. For us, the strongest partnerships are built over time: understanding each other’s capabilities, solving problems together, and turning that collaboration into deployments that deliver real value.

Why is energy-efficient AI becoming increasingly important for the future of AI in Saudi Arabia and the region?
As AI adoption grows, the economics of infrastructure increasingly come down to how much useful computation you can deliver for a given amount of power. That makes energy efficiency an important part of the equation, particularly as countries build AI infrastructure at an increasingly large scale.
For inference workloads, the relevant question is not how fast a chip can run. It is how much useful AI computation it can deliver within the available power, cooling, and infrastructure envelope. A more efficient system can support more workloads with the same infrastructure investment.
That is particularly relevant as Saudi Arabia and other countries in the region invest in large-scale AI infrastructure. Saudi Arabia has an important advantage in access to energy, but that makes efficiency no less important. The more efficiently you use that energy, the more computing capacity you can build from the infrastructure you have.

Our priority is building real capability here, not just a presence on paper. That means growing our Riyadh team, deepening technical work with local partners, and making sure the infrastructure we deploy is something Saudi engineers can eventually run and extend themselves.
How does Rebellions AI plan to contribute to the development of Saudi Arabia’s local AI talent and technology ecosystem?
Talent is one of the most important parts of building a lasting AI ecosystem. We want to create opportunities for Saudi engineers to develop expertise in AI hardware and infrastructure by working alongside our global engineering teams and on real deployments.
We are also exploring training and development programs with local universities and technical institutions, focusing on the skills needed to design, deploy, and optimize AI infrastructure. Over time, our goal is to help strengthen the broader talent pipeline so that more of the expertise needed to build and operate advanced AI infrastructure exists within the Kingdom.
