The Mediterranean and Gulf Cooperative Insurance and Reinsurance Company (MEDGULF) concluded its participation as a Gold Sponsor at Big 5 Construct Saudi 2026, one of the Middle East’s leading exhibitions for the construction and building materials industry, held at the Riyadh Front Exhibition & Conference Center from Aug. 30 to Sept. 2.
The company’s booth, 2D151, attracted strong visitor turnout, with MEDGULF showcasing an integrated range of insurance solutions and digital services designed for individuals, businesses, and small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs).
MEDGULF showcased a range of services including health, life, general and motor insurance, as well as its “Riadi Health” programme and specialised insurance solutions for projects and the construction sector. The solutions enable businesses to obtain coverage tailored to their operations and specific needs, from planning and execution through to project completion.
MEDGULF provides access to the Kingdom’s largest healthcare provider network, comprising more than 1,600 providers, alongside a digital ecosystem that includes an AI-powered application and digital twin technology, as well as an interactive portal for managing insurance policies and related services. The company also provides 24/7 customer service.
Engineering Insurance
MEDGULF provides construction projects with protection against risks arising from equipment and machinery breakdowns throughout all stages of a project. Its coverage also protects against financial losses and legal liabilities resulting from damage or accidents, including leaks, explosions and other sudden and unforeseen incidents.
The company’s solutions also provide comprehensive asset protection and cover stock deterioration resulting from refrigeration machinery breakdowns.
After construction is complete, MEDGULF offers inherent defects insurance to protect property owners against certain structural defects that may emerge after completion, including issues related to foundations or other structural elements, subject to the scope of coverage and the policy’s terms and conditions.

MEDGULF showcased its health insurance services for small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs), including the “Riadi Health” programme, an insurance solution tailored to SMEs’ needs throughout their growth and expansion stages.
The company also offers flexible group life insurance solutions for businesses of all sizes, which can be provided as an employee benefit that demonstrates a company’s commitment to its workforce and helps foster a more stable working environment.
Insurance Solutions for Individuals and Domestic Workers
For individuals, MEDGULF showcased motor insurance services, including comprehensive coverage and third-party liability insurance, alongside a range of specialised general insurance products. These include personal accident insurance, medical malpractice insurance, domestic worker insurance, extended warranty programmes for new and pre-owned vehicles, and powertrain warranty coverage for new vehicles.
MEDGULF also offers domestic worker insurance, providing coverage for both employers and domestic workers in a range of circumstances. Coverage includes the cost of repatriating a worker in the event of death, disability or certain emergencies, as well as the cost of recruiting a replacement worker in specified cases. It also covers certain circumstances involving absence from or refusal to work, as well as force majeure events, subject to the policy’s terms and conditions.
