Precious metals advance in local markets, with 24K gold rising to AED541 per gram and silver trading at AED7.91 per gram

    Dubai: Gold and silver prices moved higher in the UAE on Thursday, tracking gains in precious metals markets and pushing retail gold rates closer to recent highs.

    The price of 24-karat gold rose to AED541.00 per gram, while 22-karat gold was priced at AED501.00 per gram.

    Meanwhile, 21-karat gold traded at AED480.50 per gram, and 18-karat gold reached AED411.75 per gram.

    Current gold prices are:

    • 24K Gold: AED541.00 per gram
    • 22K Gold: AED501.00 per gram
    • 21K Gold: AED480.50 per gram
    • 18K Gold: AED411.75 per gram

    Silver prices also increased, with silver trading at AED7.91 per gram, bringing the metal close to the AED8-per-gram level.

    Current silver prices are:

    • Silver: AED246.04 per ounce
    • Silver: AED7,910.36 per kilogram

    The latest gains reflect continued movement in international precious metals markets, with gold and silver benefiting from investor demand and broader market developments.

    Final jewellery prices may vary between retailers depending on making charges, design costs and other fees, while gold and silver rates continue to fluctuate throughout the trading day in line with global market movements.
